A call to prepare became a much bigger journey.
Many years ago, during a season that felt stable and comfortable, I sensed what I can only describe as a call to prepare. It did not come with a prediction, a date or a dramatic warning. It was simply a persistent conviction to pay attention, become more self-reliant, steward resources wisely and help my family become better prepared for change.
At first, I thought preparedness was mainly about supplies. Over time, I learned it is much broader. Preparedness includes practical skills, sound information, financial wisdom, health, resilience, community, discernment and the ability to remain steady when circumstances become uncertain.
Joseph Report grew from that journey. The goal is not to predict every crisis. The goal is to notice meaningful change early enough to understand it, prepare wisely and continue living with purpose.
